In todays lesson we will be familiarising ourselves with cameras, editing and premier skills. To do this we will be put into groups, in our groups we will be discussing props, story boards, shot transitions and shots. We will be aiming to replicate the juno film opening whilst getting used to camera shots like tracking and panning. Once completed filming we were given the task to sequence the clips we had filmed into the correct order as well as adding a similar effect as the juno opening, this task was done using premier, although we were working in groups we had to edit our juno openings individually.
Planning: as part of our film planning we have closely analysed the timings of shots in the original juno as well as adding images into a story board with brief instructions. as a result of this our story board was accurate to timings, however the type of action shot and notes in our story board was not 100% accurate to the camera angle or shot. Due to this we had some difficulties in shooting.
As a result of filming we did not get to complete filming all our clips to the standard we would have liked, as well as this we had an issue with filming as there was a difficulty with the availability of the group members during filming, due to this we lost time for editing as we struggled to get all the completed shots.
